Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave I Tolemaici the free kick. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

I Tolemaici made a substitution. Claudio Sisti replaced Filippo Lio. The wind increased when Ciro Petroni made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix 's zone, Ciro Petroni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Cammarota came out of the goal and Ciro Petroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
