Ciccio Cino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Briano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciccio Cino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Alexander Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Augusto Briano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Cino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 12 minutes into the game, Ciccio Cino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Briano. Ciccio Cino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Borgo Muratori's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Cino came free, but Augusto Briano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BAYER MONACO's Alexander Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borgo Muratori's Augusto Briano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Cino in the 19th minute of play. Alfonso Marcolongo's late challenge caught a BAYER MONACO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Marcolongo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BAYER MONACO booed when Borgo Muratori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Marcolongo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Ciccio Cino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augusto Briano. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 26th minute, Alvaro Colaussi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciccio Cino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Briano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciccio Cino slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes BAYER MONACO got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Di Monte. Ciccio Cino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th match minute, Borgo Muratori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Colaussi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Muratori's zone, Alexander Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Briano came out of the goal and Alexander Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Alexander Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Briano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Briano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Cino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Borgo Muratori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino De Felice to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Ciccio Cino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAYER MONACO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Augusto Briano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Massa's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Augusto Briano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Cino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciccio Cino in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Briano saved Borgo Muratori from getting behind. Ciccio Cino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Briano having to interfere. BAYER MONACO's Ciccio Cino got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Colaussi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match BAYER MONACO got a corner. Borgo Muratori's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Cattaneo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alessandro Cattaneo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Borgo Muratori's Augusto Briano did a great save. In the 74th minute, Amos Pantani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 75 minutes, Ciccio Cino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAYER MONACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Cino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, BAYER MONACO's Ciccio Cino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Briano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Augusto Briano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Massa in the 85th minute of play. Borgo Muratori's Augusto Briano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Cino in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Amos Pantani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciccio Cino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Briano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Cino in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BAYER MONACO had played much better football throughout.
