Alfredo Orlandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Antonello Panico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Panico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Cardillo in the 11th minute of play. Alfredo Orlandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Cardillo made a kick off. Dave Albanesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Pasquale, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Sporting Club Barzilai getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fausto Salemme hit a great ball. The supporters of Sporting Club Barzilai booed when Rho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide De Matteis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Orlandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Panico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Barzilai's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Scivittaro came free, but Dave Albanesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rho booed when Sporting Club Barzilai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Mandara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Albanesi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Pasquale's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Franco Cardillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Antonello Panico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antonello Panico was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Franco Cardillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franco Cardillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 91 minutes into the game, Franco Cardillo lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Antonello Panico. In the 95th minute, Alfredo Orlandi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonello Panico, passed just outside the right post. If Franco Cardillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Sporting Club Barzilai could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rho throughout the match.
