The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amedeo Mascia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carter De Vecchis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Tundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Anselmo Miranda's late challenge caught a astronzi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes F.C. Sanderland got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Miranda. Cesare Tundo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by astronzi's Carter De Vecchis. But to his dismay, Carter De Vecchis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 68th minute Carter De Vecchis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Tundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of F.C. Sanderland booed when astronzi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Tardelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulvio Celli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Crema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, astronzi's Carter De Vecchis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesare Tundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesare Tundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Mascia's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. During the 90th minute of the match Anselmo Miranda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anselmo Miranda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sanderland's Anselmo Miranda got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter De Vecchis in the 94th minute of play forced F.C. Sanderland's goalkeeper Cesare Tundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Sanderland's zone, Carter De Vecchis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Tundo came out of the goal and Carter De Vecchis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amedeo Mascia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Tundo having to interfere. astronzi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
