After having played for 11 minutes, Filippo Minicucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isorelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Minicucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francesco Conti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fedele Ascenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Minicucci in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Ascenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 played minutes Real Giefra got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Di Giambattista. Fedele Ascenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Conti in the 29th minute of the match. When Enrico Puddu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Giefra's protests and gave Enrico Puddu a yellow card for diving instead. Isorelle's Francesco Conti got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filippo Minicucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Ascenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Conti in the 42nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beppe Melchiorre made a kick off. Augusto Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Melchiorre, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dave Russi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Filippo Minicucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Giefra's Fedele Ascenzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Francesco Conti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Isorelle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fedele Ascenzi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Isorelle's Filippo Minicucci shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Real Giefra's Fedele Ascenzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Real Giefra from getting a goal against them. Filippo Minicucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filippo Minicucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Ascenzi having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Isorelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Mastrocola to maneuver through the defense. When Filippo Minicucci came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Isorelle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Minicucci couldn't finish the play. Fedele Ascenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Conti in the 88th minute. A collision led to Isorelle getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Francesco Conti hit a great ball. With a little luck, Real Giefra's Fedele Ascenzi got control of the ball when Francesco Conti tried to sneak it across the goal line.
