Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amedeo Arcangeli took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Ganjoni getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Amerigo Giampieri hit a great ball. Amedeo Arcangeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alex Colasante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Borghetti's Ermanno Orrore seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ermanno Orrore the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Borghetti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ermanno Orrore had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Borghetti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ganjoni:s goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borghetti's goalkeeper Antonio Carozza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Borghetti's Angelo Pietrangelo got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ganjoni's zone, Angelo Pietrangelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Colasante came out of the goal and Angelo Pietrangelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Lucente hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Ganjoni's Federico Ciaccia in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borghetti's goalie prevented a goal. Antonio Carozza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Ciaccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Petrella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
Armando Rainaldi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Fausto Petrella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Antonio Carozza made a huge save. If Beppe Novella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Petrella's late challenge caught a Borghetti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Petrella helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Petrella hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Ganjoni got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Natalucci. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borghetti's goalkeeper Antonio Carozza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Borghetti getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Angelo Pietrangelo hit a great ball. When Federico Ciaccia came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Ganjoni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Ciaccia couldn't finish the play. The Borghetti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ganjoni's performance. The match ended with a win for Ganjoni.
