The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Di Florio in the 4th minute of play forced Messina's goalkeeper Ferdinando Falasca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Messina's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Di Florio came free, but Ferdinando Falasca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinando Falasca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Palone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Carlo Buccella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Falasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Messina got a freekick which was hit by Davide Stella. Messina's Ferdinando Falasca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Di Florio in the 12th minute of play. If Fabio Di Florio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Di Florio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ferdinando Falasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cruser's Enrico Petrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cericola in the 18th minute of play. Messina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabio Di Florio 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Fabio Di Florio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinando Falasca was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Corrado Pantalone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ferdinando Falasca made a huge save. Ferdinando Falasca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Pavia in the 27th minute of play. Fabio Di Florio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ferdinando Falasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Messina getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bernardo Capuozzi hit a great ball. If Fabio Di Florio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Rapone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ferdinando Falasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Carlo Buccella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruser's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Buccella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Messina's zone, Fabio Di Florio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Falasca came out of the goal and Fabio Di Florio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christian Cirone made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match 姜枫泉 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinando Falasca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 56th minute Franco Palone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Falasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Di Florio took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Falasca. Ferdinando Falasca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ferdinando Falasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Pavia in the 65th minute of the match. Enrico Petrocchi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Cericola in the 66th minute. If Angelo Cericola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinando Falasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Di Florio in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Tervel Tuleshkov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinando Falasca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Messina's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Di Florio came free, but Ferdinando Falasca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Di Florio took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Falasca. Ferdinando Falasca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cruser walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
