Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dennis Mameli took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alex Scudieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ferdinando Catena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Pampers FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Marinacci. If Alex Scudieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Mameli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Catena having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Arturo Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Catena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Mameli in the 21st minute of the match. Alex Scudieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Mameli in the 28th minute of play forced Pampers FC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Catena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varlungo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Scudieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pampers FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Emiliano Pellecchia hit a great ball. Daniele Taurino might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Locatelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniele Taurino ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Taurino to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pampers FC booed when Varlungo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Di Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Alex Scudieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varlungo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Scudieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pampers FC booed when Varlungo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Nanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Dennis Mameli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pampers FC's Ferdinando Catena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Pampers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Scudieri came free, but Ferdinando Catena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Alex Scudieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Catena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Catena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Scudieri's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Dennis Mameli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Mameli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinando Catena having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Varlungo FC's Alex Scudieri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinando Catena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Mameli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Varlungo FC's Dennis Mameli got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Varlungo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
