Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Savona FC's Arturo Del Greco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6th play minutes Christian Felipillo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Alfredo Miconi and just under the crossbar into goal. Christian Felipillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Miconi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Christian Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes pplp got a freekick which was hit by Amos Boninsegna. In the 19th minute Christian Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vince Kertész fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Miconi having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Amos Boninsegna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, pplp's Amos Boninsegna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Miconi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Julian Rykaczewski struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Alfredo Miconi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pplp. Christian Felipillo scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Miconi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Christian Felipillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Miconi was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Robert Gendolla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfredo Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Felipillo made a kick off. Christian Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Miconi having to interfere. If Amos Boninsegna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Savona FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Miconi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Robert Gendolla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Vince Kertész left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The pplp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When Amos Boninsegna came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the pplp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Boninsegna couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Rykaczewski in the 74th minute of play forced Savona FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Miconi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amos Boninsegna went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, pplp's Severino Barral got a free kick in the 78th minute. A hard shot 80 in the game by Christian Felipillo from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Miconi managed to make a qualified save. Savona FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Savona FC's zone, Amos Boninsegna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Miconi came out of the goal and Amos Boninsegna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Savona FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Miconi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Gendolla took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Miconi. Alfredo Miconi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Amos Boninsegna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alfredo Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Christian Felipillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Miconi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. When the final whistle sounded pplp left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Savona FC.
