Casorate Sempione's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Carter Di Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damiano Pazienza got free with Antonio Frabetti in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Casorate Sempione's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enzo Milani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Damiano Pazienza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Frabetti having to interfere. Carter Di Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Amerigo Martano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Di Santo in the 36th minute of play forced Rescalda FC's goalkeeper Amerigo Martano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rescalda FC's Amerigo Martano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Nardone in the 37th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rescalda FC's Amerigo Martano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Nardone in the 52nd minute of play. Anselmo Nardone hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Amerigo Martano made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Carter Di Santo sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, one of Rescalda FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rescalda FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Nardone in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amerigo Martano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st match minute, Rescalda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Milani to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Anselmo Nardone made a precise shot to the right of Amerigo Martano. Rescalda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Casorate Sempione's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Di Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amerigo Martano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Casorate Sempione's Anselmo Nardone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amerigo Martano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Rescalda FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Casorate Sempione were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
