Carter Di Santo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ennio Castellini 28 minutes into the match. Carter Di Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ennio Castellini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Val Cartiera's Ennio Castellini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Real Val Cartiera from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Real Val Cartiera's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Nardone came free, but Ennio Castellini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Val Cartiera's zone, Carter Di Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Castellini came out of the goal and Carter Di Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carter Di Santo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ennio Castellini came out and tried to block the shot, but Carter Di Santo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Emilio Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes, Carter Di Santo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Real Val Cartiera's Ennio Castellini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ennio Castellini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Nardone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Carter Di Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casorate Sempione's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Di Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Castellini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ennio Castellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Di Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
