Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Rotten Drunken Pirates's Ferruccio Palomba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Attilio Lauria was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rotten Drunken Pirates! Eugenio Marcantonio came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Brisighella's Francesco Di Nunzio. But to his dismay, Francesco Di Nunzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Brisighella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Fontanive to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Rotten Drunken Pirates's Eugenio Marcantonio got control of the ball when Francesco Di Nunzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 played minutes Rotten Drunken Pirates got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Fontana. Arrigo Caracciolo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arrigo Caracciolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arrigo Caracciolo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brisighella's goalkeeper Alfonso Giocondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinando Santangelo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Enrico Peca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eugenio Marcantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Rotten Drunken Pirates got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Fontana. Francesco Di Nunzio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eugenio Marcantonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brisighella.

The wind increased when Enrico Peca made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Bernardo Cirulli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rotten Drunken Pirates and the Brisighella players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Rotten Drunken Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Cirulli to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Peca kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Francesco Di Nunzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Rotten Drunken Pirates got a freekick which was hit by Felice Barillari. Francesco Di Nunzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eugenio Marcantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Enrico Peca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brisighella's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Peca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Marcantonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Marcantonio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Peca's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Concetto Di Luca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Giocondo, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francesco Di Nunzio in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Marcantonio saved Rotten Drunken Pirates from getting behind. Brisighella's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
