An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Forte in the 13th minute of play forced Arespan FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Teti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Pallotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arespan FC's Alessandro Teti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Arespan FC from getting a goal against them. Alessandro Teti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Franceschi in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Dennis Franceschi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Teti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Teti was a little too slow when Dennis Franceschi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Mannella to make the kick off. Alessandro Teti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Franceschi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eugenio Pallotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Dennis Franceschi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arespan FC's Alessandro Teti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dennis Franceschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alfonso Canzano fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arespan FC's protests and gave Alfonso Canzano a yellow card for diving instead. Filippo Tesone hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Amerigo Carulli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Teti skillfully saved the ball. Eugenio Pallotta struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alessandro Teti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACF Fiorentina. Alessandro Teti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Pallotta in the 71st minute of play. If Dennis Franceschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Franceschi in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Teti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Alfonso Canzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Wallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Teti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Salerno in the 81st minute of the match. If Dennis Franceschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Teti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Franceschi's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes, Fabrizio Alberico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACF Fiorentina and the Arespan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ACF Fiorentina getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fabrizio Alberico hit a great ball. When ACF Fiorentina's Dennis Franceschi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arespan FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dennis Franceschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
