An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Ricciuti in the 13th minute of play forced Castelnuovo's goalkeeper Dario Benarrivo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciccio Cilli struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dario Benarrivo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paparotti FC. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Ricciuti was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Paparotti FC's Ciccio Cilli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Benarrivo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Emilio Ricciuti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Benarrivo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Benarrivo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Ricciuti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Paparotti FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Castelnuovo.
