Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Faccio got the match started through his kick off. Ferruccio Costantini might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Di Toma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferruccio Costantini ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Piccoli charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Piccoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fortunato Maccarone's late challenge caught a FC Otelul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fortunato Maccarone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Domenico Sciascia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Faccio struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Eugenio Ali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Otelul. 26 minutes into the match, FC Otelul's goalkeeper Alexander Di Toma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Costantini. In the 37th minute of the match, Arrigo Bearzot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander Di Toma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 40th minute, Arrigo Bearzot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Di Toma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Donato Polidori hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arrigo Bearzot was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Cheesecake's Arrigo Bearzot made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Di Toma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domenico Sciascia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Eugenio Ali made a huge save. Enzo Piccoli hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Domenico Sciascia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eugenio Ali firmly grabbed it by the left post. Enzo Piccoli was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cheesecake's Eugenio Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Faccio in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Cheesecake booed when FC Otelul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ferruccio Costantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheesecake fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With a little luck, Cheesecake's Eugenio Ali got control of the ball when Domenico Sciascia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Ali made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ettore Valente sent off a good shot on target. Ferruccio Costantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Di Toma having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ferruccio Costantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheesecake fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Otelul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cheesecake.
