If Bernardo Massimini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mezzanino getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Flavio De Lucia hit a great ball. Fabrizio Madaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Tesone in the 25th minute of play. Bernardo Massimini struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fabrizio Madaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isola di procida. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edoardo Iezzi to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesare Tesone in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Madaio saved Mezzanino from getting behind. Fabrizio Madaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesare Tesone's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Fabrizio Madaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Massimini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Visintin's late challenge caught a Isola di procida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
