If Edmondo Fanelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dino Marzo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C-Fascis-S.S's protests and gave Dino Marzo a yellow card for diving instead. Dino Marzo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Beppe Fontanive shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Cino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Coletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Concetto Caiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concetto Caiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Coletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, A.C-Fascis-S.S's Edoardo Giordani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Caiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Beppe Fontanive managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Fontanive was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A.C-Fascis-S.S's Arrigo Cino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Melone in the 35th minute of play. Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass's Aurelio Bocchi got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Marzo. The Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.C-Fascis-S.S were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo Melone to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Caruso to maneuver through the defense. Alex Rosini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amerigo Melone struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Arrigo Cino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass. With a little luck, Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass's Concetto Caiola got control of the ball when Alex Rosini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlo Caruso hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Attilio Martano shot from long distance in the 66th minute, but Concetto Caiola was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Beppe Fontanive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Cino having to interfere. Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass's Alfredo Marzo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arrigo Frasca, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Amerigo Melone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arrigo Cino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Vaiani hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes, Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass's Amedeo Mannella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arrigo Cino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass reached it. In the 81st minute, Alex Rosini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass's Amerigo Melone in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Tenaglia NoMax Int&Pass manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing A.C-Fascis-S.S to win.
