Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dino Balestra started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Adegliacco FC booed when Montechiarugolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Di Nino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Amedeo Cucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montechiarugolo's Dario Chelodi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Ricci in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Balestra came free, but Dario Chelodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Adegliacco FC's Amos Ricci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Chelodi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Di Nino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Adegliacco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Rossetti to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Di Nino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Cucci having to interfere. A collision led to Adegliacco FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Claudio De Cristofaro hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Eugenio Di Nino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvise Petroni kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Amedeo Cucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Di Nino's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th match minute, Adegliacco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Balestra to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Primavera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, one of Adegliacco FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adegliacco FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Montechiarugolo's zone, Dino Balestra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Chelodi came out of the goal and Dino Balestra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dino Balestra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Eugenio Di Nino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adegliacco FC's Amedeo Cucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adegliacco FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Cucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Di Nino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Amedeo Cucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Balestra had several of the Montechiarugolo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Dario Chelodi as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 91 played minutes Montechiarugolo got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Anastasi. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Dino Balestra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Montechiarugolo getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Anselmo Pierdomenico hit a great ball. Dario Chelodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Balestra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
