Murelle Vechia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Muciaccia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Cristiano Bertolini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Murelle Vechia AFC's zone, Cristiano Bertolini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Zarillo came out of the goal and Cristiano Bertolini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Muciaccia in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Ali saved Villanova Di Denore from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Damiano Melis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Damiano Melis fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villanova Di Denore's protests and gave Damiano Melis a yellow card for diving instead. Carter Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Muciaccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Muciaccia in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Ali saved Villanova Di Denore from getting behind. Beppe Malatesta scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Ali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Ciapponi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
