Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Armando Pascucci made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Frank Fanfarone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Fanfarone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chieti Scalo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Emanuele Rotondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recco's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Rotondi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberigo Ferri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberigo Ferri made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Armando Pascucci sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Rotondi in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberigo Ferri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberigo Ferri made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Armando Pascucci sent off a good shot on target. Alberigo Ferri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuele Rotondi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Filippo Proia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recco's Dave Martini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Recco's Emanuele Rotondi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuele Rotondi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Ferri having to interfere. Emanuele Rotondi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Armando Pascucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Ferri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Rotondi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Ferri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chieti Scalo FC's Filippo Proia got a free kick in the 58th minute. Aurelio Sacchi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Rotondi in the 67th minute of play forced Chieti Scalo FC's goalkeeper Alberigo Ferri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Emanuele Rotondi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Emanuele Rotondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recco's Dave Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Recco from getting a goal against them. After having played for 86 minutes, Fulvio Galli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chieti Scalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulvio Galli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulvio Galli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dave Martini made a huge save. Alberigo Ferri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Pascucci in the 94th minute of play. Aurelio Cordone kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chieti Scalo FC! When the referee ended the match the Recco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
