Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferdinando Marongiu kicked off to start the match. Carter Mastrocola came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Quartiere's Ermanno Staniscia. But to his dismay, Ermanno Staniscia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fabrizio Grimaldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinando Marongiu went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Borrelli in the 14th minute of play forced Quartiere's goalkeeper Fabrizio Grimaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Mastrocola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Bianchini in the 16th minute of play. Ferdinando Marongiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Grimaldi made a huge save. Francesco Nobili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fabrizio Grimaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adriano Sangermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Adriano Sangermano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Passons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quartiere the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Passons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Sangermano to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Ermanno Staniscia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carter Mastrocola. Passons FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermanno Staniscia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ferdinando Marongiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fabrizio Grimaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Quartiere getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Enzo Marzulli hit a great ball. Augusto Borrelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fabrizio Grimaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Adriano Sangermano scored 2-4 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Grimaldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Passons FC's zone, Enzo Marzulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Mastrocola came out of the goal and Enzo Marzulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Enzo Marzulli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carter Mastrocola. The goal made the score 2-5. After having played for 68 minutes, Ferdinando Marongiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Marongiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrizio Grimaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Borrelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Carter Mastrocola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Marzulli in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Federico Rosato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Marongiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fabrizio Grimaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Marzulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Passons FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ferdinando Marongiu hit a great ball. Ermanno Staniscia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Carter Mastrocola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Enzo Marzulli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carter Mastrocola, 2-6. Carter Mastrocola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Staniscia in the 91st minute of the match. Demetrio Bianchini in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carter Mastrocola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quartiere walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
