Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valsorda's Alberto Di Mascio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Di Mascio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Arturo Mantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Alfonsine FC 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Zarrella to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Alberto Di Mascio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arturo Mantini. The goal made the score 1-0. Alberto Di Mascio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Arturo Mantini 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Facchini in the 21st minute of play forced Valsorda's goalkeeper Alex Caporale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Alvise Facchini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Caporale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfonsine FC 1921's Alvise Facchini in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfonsine FC 1921's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Caroli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Alberto Di Mascio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvise Facchini to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesare Zarrella got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 55th match minute, Alfonsine FC 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Zarrella to maneuver through the defense. If Alberto Di Mascio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Di Mascio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Mantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Di Mascio's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Arturo Mantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Di Mascio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alberto Di Mascio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Mantini was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Arturo Mantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Michelini, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Alberto Di Mascio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valsorda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Di Mascio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
