In the 21st minute, Claudio Damiani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arturo Mantini. The goal made the score 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves DeAngelo Latham could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Arturo Mantini however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th match minute, Alfonsine FC 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Zarrella to maneuver through the defense. Cristoforo Candeloro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arturo Mantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erman Yersel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Mantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by DeAngelo Latham in the 33rd minute. Arturo Mantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DeAngelo Latham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Mantini having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erman Yersel in the 86th minute of play forced Alfonsine FC 1921's goalkeeper Arturo Mantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When DeAngelo Latham came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Grassina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that DeAngelo Latham couldn't finish the play. Arturo Mantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erman Yersel's shot from short distance in the 91st minute.
