If Alfonso Oroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciccio Caroselli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Dave Tagliente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmine Canzano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Franco Mastrocola made a huge save. Gwidon Bycofski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Caroselli having to interfere. Ciccio Caroselli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Athletich Devil booed when Romitorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Cusumano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Caroselli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Bycofski, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Alfonso Oroni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciccio Caroselli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gwidon Bycofski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athletich Devil's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwidon Bycofski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciccio Caroselli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Romitorio's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Bycofski came free, but Ciccio Caroselli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romitorio's Ciccio Caroselli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Bycofski in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amerigo Cinalli was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Carmine Canzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Mastrocola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Romitorio booed when Athletich Devil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Tagliente didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Athletich Devil getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dave Tagliente hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Romitorio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gwidon Bycofski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gwidon Bycofski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Caroselli made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gwidon Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Romitorio's goalkeeper Ciccio Caroselli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwidon Bycofski. Dave Tagliente kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Gwidon Bycofskis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Ciccio Caroselli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Athletich Devil's Gwidon Bycofski got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romitorio's Ciccio Caroselli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Romitorio from getting a goal against them. Ciccio Caroselli made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gwidon Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Oroni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciccio Caroselli having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Athletich Devil's Alfonso Oroni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciccio Caroselli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prince Love hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Franco Mastrocola came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Romitorio's Carmine Canzano. But to his dismay, Carmine Canzano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Athletich Devil's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
