The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexander Alfonsi's late challenge caught a N D C CAVESE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Alfonsi helped the player get up and apologised. N D C CAVESE made a substitution. Demetrio Pantalone replaced André Iniesta. In the 3rd match minute, Calafuria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Alfonsi to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Ercole Taglieri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The N D C CAVESE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute Ercole Taglieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Scoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Alfonsi was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of N D C CAVESE booed when Calafuria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Alfonsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. N D C CAVESE's Dennis Catucci got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ercole Taglieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Scoca having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Dennis Catucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. N D C CAVESE's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Catucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Scoca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Demetrio Pantalone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Dennis Catucci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Dennis Catucci put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Enrico Scoca.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Spione to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ercole Taglieri put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Enrico Scoca. Enrico Scoca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercole Taglieri went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, N D C CAVESE's Attilio Pocobello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Attilio Pocobello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of N D C CAVESE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Attilio Pocobello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in N D C CAVESE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! N D C CAVESE:s Elia Pozzoli showed great skill when he stopped Anselmo Suriani:s penalty. Alex Damiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Alex Damiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calafuria AFC's Enrico Scoca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Calafuria AFC's Alberigo Burgnich got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Leonard Zachrisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calafuria AFC's Enrico Scoca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Catucci in the 84th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ermanno Vierchowod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Catucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Calafuria AFC's zone, Dennis Catucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Scoca came out of the goal and Dennis Catucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded N D C CAVESE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Calafuria AFC.
