Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5040, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cesare Iacovella took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cesare Iacovella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Centofanti having to interfere. Armando Bondi might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Benedetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Bondi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cesano's Cesare Iacovella in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sasso Marconi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute, Armando Bondi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cesano fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Cesano's Cesare Iacovella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Sasso Marconi's zone, Cesare Aureli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Centofanti came out of the goal and Cesare Aureli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cesano's Cesare Iacovella in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sasso Marconi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st minute, Cesare Iacovella made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Centofanti. Sasso Marconi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cesare Aureli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Centofanti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Cesare Iacovella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Aureli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Ciccio Salvucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Conforti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donato Benedetti. Cesano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredo Centofanti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesare Iacovella went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Sasso Marconi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cesano were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo De Tommasi to make the kick off. Cesano's Ciccio Salvucci got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Ciccio Salvucci off the ground. After 53 played minutes Cesano got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Salvucci. 55 minutes into the game, Emiliano Nardone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alfredo Centofanti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvise Lizzi charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvise Lizzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Sasso Marconi got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Lizzi. Policarpio Alacuart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Benedetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo De Tommasi in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Nardone got free with Alfredo Centofanti in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesare Aureli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Centofanti. That made the score 0-6 in the 80 minute of play. Alfredo Centofanti came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Cesano's Emiliano Nardone. But to his dismay, Emiliano Nardone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 88 minutes into the game, Cesano's Emiliano Nardone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Centofanti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cesare Aureli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cesano's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Aureli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Centofanti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Cesano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sasso Marconi.
