The Real Caio F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Marano Di Napoli's goalkeeper Fabiano Castronovo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Barbato. The long shot by Achille Ciccarelli in the 16th minute really tested Fabiano Castronovo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fabiano Castronovo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Marchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Mattei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Marano Di Napoli were furious when Diego Morandin was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Marano Di Napoli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Caio F.C:s goal. In the 51st minute, Real Caio F.C got a penalty, and Enrico Soccio placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Marchetti to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Marano Di Napoli's zone, Emiliano Barbato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Castronovo came out of the goal and Emiliano Barbato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Castronovo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Barbato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
