Filippo Sacchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marano Di Napoli. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Farmino's goalkeeper Filippo Sacchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real Farmino's Filippo Sacchi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Real Farmino from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Marano Di Napoli getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Carter Simonetti hit a great ball. Donato Di Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Di Maria in the 44th minute of play forced Marano Di Napoli's goalkeeper Fabiano Castronovo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marano Di Napoli's Andrea Luongo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Pinti in the 46 minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Carter Simonetti made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Real Farmino's Amedeo Colle got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Angelo Di Dio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filippo Sacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Simonetti in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carter Simonetti in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Sacchi saved Real Farmino from getting behind. After 55 minutes, Amedeo Colle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Farmino and the Marano Di Napoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Farmino getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Amedeo Colle hit a great ball. If Davide Gargano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Carter Simonetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Farmino's Filippo Sacchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Antonello Cammarota came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Marano Di Napoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Cammarota couldn't finish the play. Carter Simonetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Di Maria came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabiano Castronovo could save by the left post. Ciccio Pedrelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Sacchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciccio Pedrelli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94thth minute of the game Carter Simonetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Farmino's Filippo Sacchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Marano Di Napoli were the better team. Marano Di Napoli's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
