The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Di Fiore helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Vetrego got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Di Fiore. Edmondo Amadei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corrado Di Gregorio in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Corrado Di Gregorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pisa Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Di Gregorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Amadei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristoforo Tieri hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Edmondo Amadei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Di Gregorio in the 17th minute of the match. Christian Piacente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Edmondo Amadei made a huge save. If Dennis Marcantonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmondo Amadei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Capasso in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pisa Sporting Club's Christian Piacente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmondo Amadei. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Corrado Scalia kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Piacente got free with Edmondo Amadei in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmondo Amadei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Piacente went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Marcantonio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Vetrego's Dennis Marcantonio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. A collision led to Vetrego getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alessio Mannella hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Alfonso Falcioni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pisa Sporting Club and the Vetrego players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfonso Falcioni hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes of play, Pisa Sporting Club's Antonello Castrucci made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Amadei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd match minute, Pisa Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Prato to maneuver through the defense. Antonello Castrucci took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmondo Amadei. Edmondo Amadei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 94 minutes into the match, Antonello Castrucci notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Vetrego's Edmondo Amadei. Edmondo Amadei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Amedeo Strazzabosco put in a rough tackle. In the 97th minute, one of Vetrego:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vetrego. Pisa Sporting Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
