When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Alfonso Della Francesca put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adriano Tieri. 23 minutes into the match, Budrio AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Cerri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Di Lello. In the 24th minute, Cristiano Leone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Alfonso Della Francesca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Tieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Alfonso Della Francesca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Budrio AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Real eli getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Della Francesca in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Tieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Budrio AFC booed when Real eli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Firmani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Ferruccio Di Lello made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Cerri. Budrio AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Anselmo Pinti kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Augusto Cerri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Di Lello in the 81st minute of play.
