Ferdinando Di Paola's late challenge caught a Verghera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Di Paola helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinando Di Paola hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Edoardo Mei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minoprio AFC's Fausto Di Felice was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elia Tarulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Petricca having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match Achille Baciadonne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrico Petricca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fausto De Santis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fausto Di Felice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bianco Tundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Marcon charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Marcon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elia Tarulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Petricca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Consalvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With his leg Enrico Petricca managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Minoprio AFC's Elia Tarulli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Mei was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Edoardo Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Di Felice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Verghera getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Enrico Scannella hit a great ball. Enrico Petricca came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Minoprio AFC's Elia Tarulli. But to his dismay, Elia Tarulli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 62 minutes into the match, Verghera's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Tarulli came free, but Enrico Petricca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verghera's Enrico Scannella shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fausto Di Felice but with some difficulty. Elia Tarulli struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Enrico Petricca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minoprio AFC. In the 78th minute, Flavio Marcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Minoprio AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cristiano Caroselli hit a great ball. Bianco Tundos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Fausto Di Felice to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Armin Consalvi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Minoprio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Consalvi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Consalvi in the 93rd minute of play forced Verghera's goalkeeper Enrico Petricca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Stellato charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrea Stellato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Verghera players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Minoprio AFC.
