Claudio Petito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Flavio Scalabrino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Martini took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Scalabrino. Flavio Scalabrino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Claudio Petito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Scalabrino having to make a save. Fausto Pellecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Celli in the 16th minute of play. Anfilogino Celli took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Pellecchia. Fausto Pellecchia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Edoardo Giordano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fausto Pellecchia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nibbiaia's zone, Eraldo Martini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Scalabrino came out of the goal and Eraldo Martini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Scalabrino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Petito's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Eraldo Martini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Nibbiaia's Flavio Scalabrino got control of the ball when Eraldo Martini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eraldo Martini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Flavio Scalabrino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Martini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Valmairone FC's zone, Edoardo Giordano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Pellecchia came out of the goal and Edoardo Giordano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Petito was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Valmairone FC's Fortunato Aureli got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Nibbiaia's Cristoforo Formaggio tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Valmairone FC's goalkeeper Fausto Pellecchia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anfilogino Celli. Valmairone FC's Eraldo Martini got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Valmairone FC's Claudio Petito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Scalabrino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valmairone FC's Eraldo Martini got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Claudio Petito came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Valmairone FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Petito couldn't finish the play. Alessandro Centofanti kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Claudio Petito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valmairone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Petito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Nibbiaia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Camillo Iannotti hit a great ball. Claudio Petito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Scalabrino having to make a save.
