The supporters of Magicowy booed when Caio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Cala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmine Giovannelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Grabowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Fabio Pennetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Scarpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Carmine Giovannelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magicowy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caio the free kick. Bruno Addario kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Carmine Giovannelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Grabowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 32 minutes, Felice Ruzzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caio and the Magicowy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Caio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Ruzzi to maneuver through the defense. When Ernesto Scarpa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Magicowy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Scarpa couldn't finish the play. After 41 played minutes Caio got a freekick which was hit by Felice Ruzzi. Boruc Grabowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Scarpa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Carmine Giovannelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anfilogino Fata charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino Fata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernesto Scarpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Magicowy! After a rather tough play, Magicowy's Enzo Orecchioni got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Alfonso Zaino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Salerno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caio's zone, Ennio Bani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmine Giovannelli came out of the goal and Ennio Bani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
