Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amerigo Di Persio made the kick off which started today's match. When Beppe Toccaceli came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Apocalypto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Toccaceli couldn't finish the play. Apocalypto's Carlo Egger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Apocalypto from getting a goal against them. Montilgallo's Camillo Giordano got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Feliziani in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrea Anzolin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Camillo Giordano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Egger had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Amerigo Di Persio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After having played for 22 minutes, Camillo Giordano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montilgallo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo Giordano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camillo Giordano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Egger having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Montilgallo's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Toccaceli came free, but Andrea Anzolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulvio Feliziani might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Anzolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulvio Feliziani ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Fulvio Feliziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Anzolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montilgallo's Felice Di Crescenzo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Apocalypto.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Feliziani to make the kick off. When Enrico Maestri fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montilgallo's protests and gave Enrico Maestri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Apocalypto booed when Montilgallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Maestri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrea Anzolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Feliziani in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Amerigo Di Persio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montilgallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apocalypto the free kick. The supporters of Apocalypto booed when Montilgallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Di Persio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Montilgallo's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Feliziani came free, but Andrea Anzolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Montilgallo fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Montilgallo's Amerigo Di Persio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th match minute, Montilgallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Campo to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Fanfarone was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Montilgallo's Amerigo Di Persio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Egger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Giordano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Amerigo Di Persio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Egger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Amerigo Di Persio put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlo Egger. Camillo Giordano struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Carlo Egger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montilgallo. In the 89th minute, Amerigo Di Persio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Egger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Giordano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Montilgallo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
