The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atletico Montello's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Duardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francesco Meo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Vasco saved ≮ SHARDANA from getting behind. Florian Padula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Scafati in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Pari during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arrigo Pari hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Arturo Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Duardo in the 29th minute of the match. Arturo Vasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Meo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Francesco Meo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Vasco having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Atletico Montello's Francesco Meo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮ SHARDANA's goalkeeper Arturo Vasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Atletico Montello were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francesco Meo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Francesco Meo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Vasco was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Mauro Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Francesco Meo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Vasco. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Francesco Meo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Vasco. That made the score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. Mauro Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arturo Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Vasco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atletico Montello's Francesco Meo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute.
