Filippo Mascia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anthony Di Mattia. Bizzozero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bizzozero's Alberto Fortunato got his second yellow card of the match in the 5th minute. The referee ordered Alberto Fortunato off the ground. After 6 played minutes Bizzozero got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Fortunato. Fulvio Mascitti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Di Mattia having to interfere. Ferruccio Pocobello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Ferruccio Pocobello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cermes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Pocobello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, one of Bizzozero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cermes FC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filippo Mascia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bizzozero's Anthony Di Mattia. 0-2. Anthony Di Mattia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Pocobello in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Ferruccio Pocobello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bizzozero's Anthony Di Mattia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Pocobello in the 39th minute of play forced Bizzozero's goalkeeper Anthony Di Mattia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Di Mattia came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Cermes FC's Ferruccio Pocobello. But to his dismay, Ferruccio Pocobello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Comunardo Menna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Aversano having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felice Martini to make the kick off. If Felice Martini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comunardo Menna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Ferruccio Pocobello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Di Mattia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Ferruccio Pocobello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Cermes FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Franco Marchesani hit a great ball. Felice Martini's late challenge caught a Cermes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Anthony Di Mattia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Comunardo Menna came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bizzozero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Menna couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Franco Cianci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cermes FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
