Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Damiano Di Salvatore made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Lucino AFC defense, Dennis Esposito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elia Alfieri. The Lucino AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elia Alfieri should have stopped the shot. Fabrizio Sabatino was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Damiano Di Salvatore capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damiano Di Salvatore really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 15th minute Dennis Esposito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Alfieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Dennis Esposito put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elia Alfieri. Lucino AFC's Elia Alfieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Catucci in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Lucino AFC's Daniele Dionisi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrizio Sabatino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriano Catucci took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elia Alfieri. Elia Alfieri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Elia Alfieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Catucci in the 31st minute of the match. If Adriano Catucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dennis Esposito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Elia Alfieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Sabatino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniele Dionisi in the 36th minute. Elia Alfieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Catucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Esposito to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Daniele Dionisi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Sabatino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lucino AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Damiano Di Salvatore hit a great ball. Adriano Catucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Federico Simeoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Molara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lucino AFC the free kick. When Beppe Cavallo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucino AFC's protests and gave Beppe Cavallo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Beppe Cavallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Catucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Colonna during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carmine Colonna hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Adriano Catucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elia Alfieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Esposito in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elia Alfieri saved Lucino AFC from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Adriano Catucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Damiano Di Salvatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Sabatino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lucino AFC's Elia Alfieri got control of the ball when Adriano Catucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Dionisi in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Sabatino saved Molara FC from getting behind. In the 98th match minute, Lucino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Giannotti to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Molara FC's Claudio Canuto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Molara FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
