Szczepan Wolniks short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Adriano Di Cicco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 6 played minutes Posatora got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cipolla. The supporters of Valeriano booed when Posatora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Farese didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Szczepan Wolnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Ferraro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Diego Toccaceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Toccaceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Ferraro in the 15th minute of play. With his leg Adriano Di Cicco managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Valeriano's Szczepan Wolnik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Achille Minicucci in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adriano Di Cicco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Posatora's Adriano Di Cicco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Posatora from getting a goal against them. Diego Toccaceli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Vaiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortunato Lauri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adriano Di Cicco. Posatora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alberto Borrelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Di Cicco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Posatora's Adriano Di Cicco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Posatora from getting a goal against them.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Camillo Ferraro got free with Diego Toccaceli in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valeriano's Emanuele Simonetti was substituted for Fedele Serafini. Ferdinando Pagliarini hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Emanuele Simonetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Posatora's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Wolnik came free, but Adriano Di Cicco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Posatora's Adriano Di Cicco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Wolnik in the 71st minute of play. Anselmo De Tommasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Adriano Di Cicco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeriano's Ermanno Carrea was substituted for Alberto Borrelli. Adriano Di Cicco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Wolnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Davide Vaiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Toccaceli having to interfere. Posatora's Adriano Di Cicco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo De Tommasi in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valeriano had played much better football throughout.
