The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Liberatore got free with Diego Toccaceli in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Valeriano's Szczepan Wolnik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Grasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Liberatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Diego Toccaceli made a huge save. Ciro Liberatore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Diego Toccaceli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A.C.Luigi's Alessandro Grasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Wolnik in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Savini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C.Luigi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valeriano the free kick. Cristoforo Savini kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Emanuele Di Sipio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 29 minutes, Ciro Liberatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C.Luigi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Liberatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes A.C.Luigi got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Savini. Alessandro Grasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Wolnik in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Wolnik in the 40th minute of play forced A.C.Luigi's goalkeeper Alessandro Grasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Grasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Minicucci in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Fortunato Lauri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Grasso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Valeriano booed when A.C.Luigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Del Monaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Dindin Pakubuwono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Grasso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Szczepan Wolnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Szczepan Wolnik in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alessandro Grasso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex Prosperi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Amos Del Monaco hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Szczepan Wolnik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alessandro Grasso. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Szczepan Wolnik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alessandro Grasso made a huge save. Szczepan Wolnik succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 80 minutes into the game, Anselmo De Tommasi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessandro Grasso. Anselmo De Tommasi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 83 played minutes Valeriano got a freekick which was hit by Dario Berti. If Emanuele Di Sipio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Valeriano getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Claudio Azzolina hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Di Sipio in the 90th minute of play forced Valeriano's goalkeeper Diego Toccaceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.C.Luigi's Alessandro Grasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save A.C.Luigi from getting a goal against them. The A.C.Luigi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Valeriano's performance. The match ended with a win for Valeriano.
