Florian Finocchio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Charro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cristoforo Brunelli's late challenge caught a Bestagno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Brunelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11thth minute of the game Ernesto Mastrocola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petosino AFC's Arturo Maestri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Mastrocola in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Maestri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ernesto Mastrocola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Mastrocola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Arturo Maestri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernesto Mastrocola in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Petosino AFC's zone, Ernesto Mastrocola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Maestri came out of the goal and Ernesto Mastrocola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Cristoforo Brunelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Finocchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Bestagno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Schiacciacasse to maneuver through the defense. Bestagno's Florian Finocchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Charro in the 37th minute of play. Arturo Maestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Croce in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Emanuele Galante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Mastrocola made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Finocchio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Petosino AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
