Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Cesinali's Beppe Ronconi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Rava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Ronconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of San Polo FC booed when Cesinali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Masi didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Polo FC's Eugenio Di Giandomenico couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cesinali. Fabiano Oberrauch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Cipollone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cesinali's goalkeeper Fabiano Oberrauch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Rava came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cesinali's Carmine Carosella. But to his dismay, Carmine Carosella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. San Polo FC's Armando Rava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Ronconi in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th of the match, Beppe Ronconi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Armando Rava got in the way and made a wonderful save. With a little luck, San Polo FC's Armando Rava got control of the ball when Carmine Carosella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dario Cipollone struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fabiano Oberrauch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Polo FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Balboni made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Cesinali's goalkeeper Fabiano Oberrauch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Cipollone. Armando Rava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Puce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dario Cipollone came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the San Polo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Cipollone couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Balboni in the 67th minute of play forced Cesinali's goalkeeper Fabiano Oberrauch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Cesinali's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Balboni came free, but Fabiano Oberrauch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Cipollone got free with Fabiano Oberrauch in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beppe Ronconi took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Rava. Armando Rava dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 93 played minutes Cesinali got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Di Domenico. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cesinali were victorious despite being under pressure from San Polo FC for much of the match.
