The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carmine Imperatrice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Micucci having to interfere. After 14 minutes BELLOSGUARDESE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demetrio Gizzi who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Demetrio Gizzi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BELLOSGUARDESE's Adriano Micucci did a great save. Fedele Barberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fedele Barberio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Micucci having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Fedele Barberio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 28 minutes into the match, Carmine Imperatrice dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adriano Micucci, 1-0. A.C. Duro's Fedele Barberio got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Micucci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Rondinelli went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmine Imperatrice to strike the kick off in the second half. BELLOSGUARDESE's Adriano Micucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Imperatrice in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BELLOSGUARDESE's zone, Carmine Imperatrice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Micucci came out of the goal and Carmine Imperatrice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carmine Imperatrice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Imperatrice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adriano Micucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Fedele Barberio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Micucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Lemme charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Lemme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adriano Micucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Imperatrice, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Fedele Barberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 76 minutes, Carmine Imperatrice made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. BELLOSGUARDESE's Adriano Micucci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adriano Micucci came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Duro's Carmine Imperatrice. But to his dismay, Carmine Imperatrice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Carmine Imperatrice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Micucci having to interfere. After some careless play in the BELLOSGUARDESE defense, Fedele Barberio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Micucci. The BELLOSGUARDESE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Micucci should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the match, BELLOSGUARDESE's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Imperatrice came free, but Adriano Micucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.C. Duro had played much better football throughout.
