Beppe Montanari was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. TORBE's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 5 minutes into the match, TORBE's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Franceschi came free, but Florian Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Armando Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Briavacca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Rocco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Briavacca FC's Emiliano Franceschi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Rocco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to TORBE getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emiliano Di Crescenzo hit a great ball. If Emiliano Franceschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos De Bettin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Enzo Pardini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd play minute Enzo Pardini came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ennio Santovito. 1-0. In the 30th minute, TORBE's Enzo Pardini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, TORBE's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Napoleone came free, but Florian Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Franceschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Florian Rocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beppe Montanari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Franceschi in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Rocco saved TORBE from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Armando Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Briavacca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Briavacca FC's Emiliano Franceschi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Florian Rocco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andrea Del Giudice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Montanari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Santovito having to interfere. Ennio Santovito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Pardini in the 72nd minute of the match. Ennio Santovito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Pardini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, TORBE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Napoleone fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emiliano Di Crescenzo's late challenge caught a Briavacca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Di Crescenzo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Briavacca FC booed when TORBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Di Crescenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Montanari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emiliano Franceschi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Briavacca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Franceschi couldn't finish the play. Briavacca FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
