Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Gallica's Florian Di Cintio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Pante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Taurino to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Eraldo Marsili shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amos Vespucci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Cantagallo in the 6th minute of play forced Pante's goalkeeper Amos Vespucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Alberigo Cremonese made a precise shot to the right of Amos Vespucci. Pante's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Cristoforo Cantagallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gallica's zone, Alex Carulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Gaeta came out of the goal and Alex Carulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alex Carulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Melucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Gaeta having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Florian Di Cintio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amos Vespucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Di Cintio in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Pante's Fortunato Melucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Gaeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian Di Cintio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Amos Vespucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Cantagallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Florian Di Cintio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amos Vespucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Corrado Gaeta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Florian Di Mattia. Cristoforo Cantagallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Vespucci having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Melucci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Pante. Comunardo Danza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Corrado Gaeta. 1-2. Alex Carulli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Gaeta having to make a save. Fortunato Melucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corrado Gaeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Melucci ran back to his position shaking his head. Corrado Gaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Melucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comunardo Danza made a great header on Pante's corner, it was just that Gallica's Corrado Gaeta managed to reach the ball for a save. After 71 played minutes Pante got a freekick which was hit by Achille Di Filippo. In the 72nd minute of the match Fabrizio Giorgi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amos Vespucci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gallica's Corrado Gaeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Carulli in the 81st minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Alex Carulli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Corrado Gaeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Gallica getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Edmondo Bevilacqua hit a great ball. 100 minutes into the match, Pante's Comunardo Danza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gallica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pante.
