The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edoardo Morini's late challenge caught a Pallavicino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pallavicino FC's Biagio Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Sciarra in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute Ennio Di Giuseppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Bassani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Di Giuseppe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Biagio Bassani came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Mandria's Anfilogino Sciarra. But to his dismay, Anfilogino Sciarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ennio Di Giuseppe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Biagio Bassani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edoardo Muciaccia to strike the kick off in the second half. Pallavicino FC's Biagio Bassani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pallavicino FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Sciarra got free with Biagio Bassani in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Ennio Di Giuseppe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Biagio Bassani. The goal made the score 1-2. Andrea Pensa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Nazzari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mandria getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Edoardo Morini hit a great ball. Andrea Pensa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Greco, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Muciaccia in the 68th minute of play forced Mandria's goalkeeper Andrea Pensa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Ranieri kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Edoardo Bencivenni, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 72nd minute, Edoardo Muciaccia made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Pensa. Mandria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Elia Nazzari struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Andrea Pensa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pallavicino FC. 81 minutes into the match, Mandria's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Muciaccia came free, but Andrea Pensa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Anfilogino Sciarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Sciarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Pallavicino FC's goalkeeper Biagio Bassani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ennio Di Giuseppe. The supporters of Pallavicino FC booed when Mandria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Morini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pallavicino FC's Biagio Bassani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Pallavicino FC from getting a goal against them. Pallavicino FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
