Certosa's Fabrizio Zoccali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Pol. Certosa from getting a goal against them. After 4 played minutes Pol. Certosa got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Lorenzi. Benedykt Zapolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Castrucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Claudio Feliziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Ospedale Civile Maggiore's Claudio Feliziani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrizio Zoccali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Edoardo Papa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Benedykt Zapolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Del Pizzo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Claudio Feliziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Zoccali having to interfere. In the 31st minute Emilio Bobbio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Zoccali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Castrucci in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedykt Zapolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ospedale Civile Maggiore's Claudio Feliziani got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrizio Zoccali made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Claudio Feliziani sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Pol. Certosa's zone, Emilio Bobbio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Zoccali came out of the goal and Emilio Bobbio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Claudio Feliziani came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ospedale Civile Maggiore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Feliziani couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Bobbio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Tiberio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Claudio Feliziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pol. Certosa's Fabrizio Zoccali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Bobbio in the 65th minute of play. Fabio Del Pizzo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Benedykt Zapolski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Bobbio in the 70th minute of play forced Pol. Certosa's goalkeeper Fabrizio Zoccali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Bobbio struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Fabrizio Zoccali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ospedale Civile Maggiore. Claudio Feliziani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrizio Zoccali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Emilio Bobbio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emilio Bobbio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ospedale Civile Maggiore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Bobbio couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Fabio Del Pizzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ospedale Civile Maggiore booed when Pol. Certosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Lorenzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Bobbio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ospedale Civile Maggiore lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
