Demetrio Ciraci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Trinca went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Montenero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Trinca came free, but Demetrio Ciraci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Lauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Angelici having to interfere. Cristiano Ciarrocchi might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felice Angelici. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Ciarrocchi ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Trinca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demetrio Ciraci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Cannata went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Napoli's Federico Cannata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demetrio Ciraci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Lauri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felice Angelici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Lauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Flavio Trincas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Demetrio Ciraci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Flavio Trinca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demetrio Ciraci having to make a save. Alex Lauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Ciarrocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Angelici having to interfere. The Napoli players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
