Spectators: 7065 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 140) Alberto Guerini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Filippo Fanelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Tornese having to interfere. Alberto Guerini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortunato Tornese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Tosi in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Demetrio Nazzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Tornese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Nazzaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Tornese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Nazzaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Trinca hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Beppe Ceccon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Guerini, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Fedele Costantino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Beppe Ceccon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, Valmarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Trinca to maneuver through the defense. If Bernardo Tosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Trinca hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Alberto Guerini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Ceccon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Russi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Guerini came free, but Beppe Ceccon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Demetrio Nazzaro made the kick off in the second half. Valmarana FC's Fedele Costantino got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippo Fanelli kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Demetrio Nazzaro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Russi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrio Nazzaro couldn't finish the play. If Demetrio Nazzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Enrico Di Felice mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valmarana FC and the Russi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Enrico Di Felice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Tosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fortunato Tornese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Russi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Fanelli. In the 75th minute of the match Angelo Pace sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beppe Ceccon skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Valmarana FC's Augusto Trinca got a free kick in the 76th minute. Eugenio Vani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardo Tosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Valmarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Colombi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Valmarana FC's Fortunato Tornese got control of the ball when Bernardo Tosi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beppe Ceccon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Costantino in the 88th minute of play. If Fedele Costantino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
