Unione Venezia's Alex Prisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Barillari in the 12th minute of play. Ermanno Porreca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Edoardo Petrocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Piovega FC defense, Ermanno Porreca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edoardo Petrocchi. The Piovega FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edoardo Petrocchi should have stopped the shot. Antonio Della Francesca might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edoardo Petrocchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Della Francesca ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermanno Porreca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unione Venezia's Biagio Addari got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermanno Porrecas short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Edoardo Petrocchi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 23 minutes, Antonio Della Francesca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unione Venezia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Della Francesca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Prisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Barillari in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Piovega FC's Fortunato Barillari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Prisco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fortunato Barillari made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Piovega FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Della Francesca came free, but Edoardo Petrocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Prisco made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alex Bucciarelli sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Piovega FC booed when Unione Venezia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Della Francesca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Petrocchi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Unione Venezia's Ermanno Porreca. But to his dismay, Ermanno Porreca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Bianco Clementi lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 90th minute, one of Unione Venezia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unione Venezia. Beppe Pellecchia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Bucciarelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Alex Prisco however easily saved by the left post. Unione Venezia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
