In the 2nd minute, Eugenio Liberti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico De Bartolo in the 5th minute of play forced Isola Di Torre's goalkeeper Damiano Valcareggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Fanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Liberti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Amerigo Gaeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Valcareggi. Isola Di Torre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amerigo Gaeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Edmondo Pasquino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Isola Di Torre's Damiano Valcareggi didn't even have to move. 23 minutes into the match, Enrico De Bartolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Valcareggi. Isola Di Torre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrico De Bartolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Amerigo Gaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Damiano Valcareggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Camillo Diana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Corrado Perazzolo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Damiano Valcareggi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damiano Valcareggi came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Savarna's Amerigo Gaeta. But to his dismay, Amerigo Gaeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Damiano Valcareggi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico De Bartolo in the 45th minute of the match. Damiano Valcareggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Gaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Alessandro Pacella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Isola Di Torre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Savarna were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Liberti made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Eugenio Liberti put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Fanelli. In the 60th play minute Enrico De Bartolo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Damiano Valcareggi. 1-5. 66 minutes into the match, Isola Di Torre's goalkeeper Damiano Valcareggi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrico De Bartolo. If Amerigo Gaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Isola Di Torre got a freekick which was hit by Elia Iob. Damiano Valcareggi made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Enrico De Bartolo sent off a good shot on target. Elia Iob kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Enrico De Bartolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amerigo Gaeta in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Valcareggi saved Isola Di Torre from getting behind. Amerigo Gaeta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damiano Valcareggi came out and tried to block the shot, but Amerigo Gaeta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 87th minute. In the 90th match minute, Savarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Perazzolo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Gaeta in the 92nd minute of play forced Isola Di Torre's goalkeeper Damiano Valcareggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Gaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Damiano Valcareggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savarna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
